Apply to be a personal assistant
This isn't a traditional PA job. Friday places you in high-trust, high-touch relationships with busy individuals and families who need real support — with discretion, grace, and impeccable follow-through.
You might be a Friday if you…
- 01 notice the picture frame that's a half-inch crooked
- 02 keep a home so organized it could pass inspection
- 03 do whatever it takes to get the job done
- 04 believe early is on time, and on time is late
- 05 genuinely want to make someone's day easier
- 06 anticipate what's needed before anyone asks
- 07 stay calm in the middle of a busy household
- 08 love the feeling of a finished checklist
- 09 keep confidences without being asked
- 10 treat someone's home with the care of your own
Intentional, on purpose

Before you apply
What does a personal assistant job with Friday involve?
Supporting busy individuals and families with a wide range of tasks — calendar and inbox management, vendor coordination, home oversight, errands, travel planning, and lifestyle support. No two clients are exactly alike, which is part of what makes the work rewarding. PAs are placed based on their strengths and each client's needs.
Where are positions located?
Nationwide. Friday places personal assistants with households across the country, near where you live. Most placements are local and in-person, though some remote support may be involved depending on the client.
Is this full-time or part-time?
Both. Friday offers fractional (part-time) and full-time placements. When you apply, you'll share your availability and preferences so we can match you with clients whose needs align with your schedule.
Do I need prior PA experience?
We look for the core traits of a great PA — proactivity, discretion, strong communication, exceptional follow-through — whether that comes from formal PA experience or a background in executive support, hospitality, operations, or household management.
What happens after I submit my application?
If your application is a strong fit, you'll be invited to complete a detailed intake form and submit a resume, professional headshot, and a short relatability list. Finalists complete a background check and internal review before joining the network.
Is this a W-2 job or a 1099 contract position?
Employment structure varies by placement. Details are discussed during the intake and placement process based on client needs and your specific arrangement with Friday.
How long does the application process take?
The timeline varies with current client needs and network availability. We move thoughtfully rather than quickly — placing the right person with the right client is the priority. You'll hear from us if you're selected to move forward.
I've never had the title “personal assistant” — can I still apply?
Absolutely. Many of our strongest network members come from executive assistance, property management, event coordination, hospitality, or family support roles. If your skills translate and your instincts are right, the title on your past resume matters less than who you are in the role.
