What "certified" means when someone is in your home

Background checks tell you who someone is. Certification tells you how they'll work. Every personal assistant Friday places has been background-checked by Checkr and interviewed in person, and earns certification in the same standards described on this page over their first months.

A shared definition of doneYour personal assistant and Friday agree on what finished looks like before day one.
Discretion, trained not assumedCodes, documents, guests, and social media are covered explicitly, under NDA.
Communication you can rely onWeekly summaries and clear questions are part of the standard, not a personality trait.

Questions, answered

Before you enroll

Is it really free?

Free for a limited time. If you enroll while it's free, the full program and your certificate stay free. We'll announce any pricing change well ahead of time.

Do I have to work with Friday to get certified?

No. Certification is open to any personal assistant or house manager. If you'd also like client placements, check the box when you enroll and we'll follow up about the network.

How long does it take?

It's self-paced. Most network PAs complete it over their first months alongside real client work, since many of the assessments are evidence from actual sessions. Cohorts that start together run about eight to nine weeks, one module a week.

Is it just quizzes?

No. Quizzes check that each lesson landed, with unlimited retakes. Certification rests on 14 performance assessments, including a photographed bed, a three-quote vendor comparison, an audited itinerary, and an emergency scenario set. Critical standards like confidentiality, credential handling, and spending authority must be passed outright.

What do I get at the end?

A dated certificate in your portal Documents, the Certified Friday PA badge on your Meet the Network profile, and a line you can put on your resume.

I'm a client. Does my personal assistant have this?

Yes. Every personal assistant Friday places works through certification over their first months, alongside real client work, on top of a Checkr background check and in-person interview.
